The first day of wearing your rubber boots, puddle jumpers, or break-up boots, whatever the
title, is a rite of spring. On Friday, April 6, after school, Hannah put on her boots and headed outside. Over the winter Hannah forgot a key rule of wearing rubber boots: if you go into a deep puddle, cold icy water
WILL pour over the top of your boots and inside your boot. The result is shocking and cold, involves sobbing and a wet sock trail in the house. It happened last year, the year before, and it happened this year. We have high hopes for next year.....maybe she'll remember.
