Goodbye Winter

Our last trip to the ice park was on March 29, just two days before the glorious park closed for the season. Temperatures were warming up, hence Evelyn is in a stroller instead of the sled.

March was a cold month, even for Fairbanks. We almost broke the record for the coldest March on record. We missed the record due to warm temperatures, above 32 degrees, on the March 31st. On the upside, the cold temperatures kept the ice park open an extra week.

Now we turn our thoughts to spring. The first week of April, Hannah and I began planting our starts, beginning with the herbs.

Parsley, basil, and oregano.
